Welcome to the CSLS online payment system.
The Centre for the Study of Living Standards has developed an online payment system with the support of PayPal. However, it is by no means necessary to have a PayPal account in order to use the payment system. All that is required is a valid Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card.
Please read the instructions before proceeding to the payment system. Payments can only be accepted from residents of Canada at this time. If you would like to arrange to pay from another country or in another currency, or if you have any questions regarding the online payment system, please contact info@csls.ca. Comments on your experience with this new payment system are also welcome at this address.
For Subscription Renewals:
To renew your subscription, click on the Pay for a Subscription button below, and follow the directions. Enter the appropriate amount, depending on whether you wish to renew your subscription for one, two or three years. Your credit card will not be charged until you have verified all your payment details. At this point you will be presented with a receipt on the screen, which will also be sent to the e-mail address that you provide with your payment information.
Please use the “Additional Information” box on the payment screen to provide any comments you wish. It is important that you include in the “Additional Information” box the name of the person for which you are paying if this is not the same as the name on the credit card you are using. You can also use this box to make address changes.
If you are HST exempt, select the appropriate button below and continue as above. Make sure to include your HST number in the “Additional Information” box. If you pay using this option and do not provide a HST number you will be invoiced for the 13% HST.
For New Subscribers:
For those wishing to subscribe to the CSLS Publication Program for the first time, please contact info@csls.ca. Please include the following information: Name, Title, Organization, Address, City, Province, Postal Code, Telephone Number, Fax Number and E-mail Address.

You will be asked the amount you wish to pay and your payment information. Enter the amount excluding HST. Be sure to include any specific information about the payment and your HST number if exempt in the “Additional Information” box.
