Frances Woolley

Frances Woolley is Professor of Economics and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Public Affairs at Carleton University, where she has taught since 1990. Her research focuses on modelling family-decision making, measuring inequality within the household, feminist economics, and tax-benefit policy towards families. She is currently Vice President of the Canadian Economics Association (CEA) and previously served as CEA Secretary Treasurer. She has also held positions as business editor of Canadian Public Policy, co-editor of the Review of Economics of the Household, and member of the editorial boards of Feminist Economics and the Journal of Socio-Economics.
